Responsibilities:
Under the oversight and direction of Financial Reporting management, the GAAP Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing the monthly internal financial statements as well as all monthly, quarterly, and annual external financial statements/reports.
Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Preparing and validating monthly and quarterly financial statements, state reports/fillings, MD&A, and various management reportsPreparing various journal entries, reports and audited disclosures associated with related party transactions.
Preparing audited annual financial statements, reports, related disclosures and footnotes (GAAP, OCBOA, and Benefit plans).
Identifying process inefficiencies, recommending efficient process alternatives, and facilitating implementation of such process improvements.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required (Accounting preferred).
CPA preferred or in process.
Solid understanding of U.
S.
GAAP and the application thereof.
Experienced in the preparation of annual audited financial statements, reports, related disclosures and footnotes based on U.
S.
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Other Comprehensive Basis of Accounting (OCBOA).
Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion, or similar ERP system preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Workiva or similar system preferred.
3 or more years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience at a public accounting firm.
Healthcare Industry experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
